Read more… University to offer Internship Milestone Credit beginning in Summer 2020 Undergraduate students concentrating in participating departments will be able to apply for Internship Milestone Credit beginning in summer 2020. This curricular change was approved the Committee on the Course of Study in the fall, following review of the recommendations of the Working Group on Internships and the Undergraduate Curriculum . Read more… Princeton eliminates the summer savings requirement in financial aid awards for all undergraduates Taking effect in the fall of 2020, Princeton financial aid awards will have a reduced total student contribution of $3,500 through the elimination of the summer savings expectation. The new student contribution will be based on the estimated cost of books and personal expenses, which are out-of-pocket costs directly managed and paid by students. As a result of this change, aid awards will be simplified and the amount due on the student account will be easier for both students and parents to understand. Read more here Read more… McGraw Center Takes Action Toward Zero Waste The McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning recently completed renovations to its kitchen space, which included installing a new dishwasher, and purchasing new reusable items to reduce waste and environmental impact. The renovations were partially financed through the High Meadows Foundation Sustainability Fund , a seed fund overseen by the Office of Sustainability to pilot sustainability initiatives with measurable outcomes that contribute to cultivating a sustainability ethos on campus, in service to the world. Read more… Rebecca Graves-Bayazitoglu named senior associate dean of the Office of International Programs Rebecca Graves-Bayazitoglu, associate dean of the college and director of the McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning , has been named senior associate dean of the Office of International Programs (OIP) at Princeton University. She will start in her new role on July 1 and will report to Jill Dolan, dean of the college.
